Fitistic ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, protect, and handle your data when you use the Fitistic mobile application and related web services.

By downloading, accessing, or using Fitistic, you agree to the practices outlined in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the application.

We collect only the information necessary to provide you with a personalized, high-performance fitness experience:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and encrypted password authentication tokens.
  • Profile & Physical Characteristics: Age, biological sex, height, weight, activity levels, and personal fitness goals voluntarily provided during onboarding or in profile settings.
  • Workout & Performance Logs: Workout routines, logged sets, repetitions, weight loads, session duration, and exercise completion history.
  • Nutrition & Dietary Data: Daily calorie intakes, logged meals, macronutrient distributions (protein, carbs, fats), and hydration metrics.
  • Body Metrics & Visuals: Weight check-ins, body tape measurements, BMI calculations, and optional encrypted private progress photos.
  • Device & Diagnostic Information: Device model, Android OS version, app version, and anonymized crash logs utilized solely for technical troubleshooting and system stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly for the following purposes:

  • To provide, personalize, and optimize the Fitistic application features.
  • To generate adaptive workout recommendations and calculate metabolic caloric targets.
  • To synchronize your logs and history reliably across app sessions.
  • To send optional workout reminders, streak milestones, and rest timer alerts.
  • To analyze aggregated, strictly anonymized usage metrics to improve feature speed and usability.
  • To respond to your support queries and resolve bug reports.
  • To ensure system integrity and comply with applicable statutory laws.

3. Data Storage & Security Architecture

Your privacy and device security are top priorities:

  • Local Encryption: Your data is saved locally on your Android device in a secured SQLite database.
  • Android Keystore: All authorization tokens and session keys are secured using the native Android Keystore system.
  • HTTPS / TLS In-Transit: When data synchronizes with our cloud services, it is encrypted via TLS 1.3/HTTPS using modern cryptography.
  • Zero Third-Party Ad Trackers: We do not embed ad network SDKs that profile your behavior across apps.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal health information. Data is only processed in the following restricted scenarios:

  • Infrastructure Service Providers: Highly vetted cloud hosting and database providers operating under strict data protection and confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by a valid judicial court order, warrant, or regulatory requirement under applicable law.
  • With Your Explicit Consent: Any supplementary integrations that you explicitly authorize.

5. AI Coach & Query Privacy

Fitistic includes an intelligent AI Coach assistant. When you submit a question or prompt to the AI Coach:

  • Queries are processed via secure Google Gemini AI APIs.
  • We do not transmit your personally identifiable information (e.g., your full name, email address, or private photos) to the AI service. Only the sanitized fitness context needed to answer your specific question is processed.

6. Your Data Rights & Choices

Regardless of your geographic jurisdiction, you have full ownership of your fitness data:

  • Access: You have the right to request a complete export of the personal information stored in your account.
  • Correction: You can edit or correct any profile metric or workout entry at any time inside the app.
  • Account Deletion: You can request full account deletion from the app settings or by contacting us. Upon confirmation, all associated data is permanently erased from active servers within 30 days.
  • Data Portability: Receive your logs in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Children's Privacy

Fitistic is strictly designed and intended for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact our support team and we will promptly delete the account and information.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or evolving regulations. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" timestamp, and significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications.
